The Mantis Wins!
There was a praying mantis in the yard, and it jumped up onto the picnic table while I was fooling around with some of my Legos.
Here you can see the end of the battle, where the mantis destroyed all of the Lego warriors.
Most North American mantids are not included among endangered species, but species in other parts of the world are under threat from habitat destruction. They aren't protected in Pennsylvania, but I treat them with respect. The only thing I touched it with was a blade of grass, as you can see here.

These insects are incredibly animated and fun to watch unless they are trying to catch my butterflies then I have to chase them..........JJ : )
